Each year, we’ll gather a new collection of local artists and voices around a different theme. Visit the below link for how it works, key dates and deadlines, submission guidelines, notifications, artwork drop-off and exhibition dates.

Southbound — 2021 Arts on the Coast Annual Exhibit, June 24-September 11
For ages, music artists have been inspired by visual art to create songs that are almost as famous as the paintings themselves. Nat King Cole sang to Mona Lisa, Don McLean’s Starry Starry Night paid tribute to Vincent Van Gogh, Coldplay’s 2008 album Viva la Vida swore allegiance to Frida Kahlo, and countless classical composers have been inspired by the famous works of Botticelli, Hogarth, and Hokusai.
