On view now at PhotoPoint Gallery, Far Away brings together 19 artists — Jamie Azevedo, Alyson Betz, Nancy Boyd, Marilyn Brady, Jim Cone, Brian Condon, Antoine de Villiers, Tamara Garvey, Erin Lovejoy, Kelly O’Leary, William Pagano, Mary Hartman, Peter E. Roberts, Angela Rowe, Dana Richardson, Oliver Smith, Dicky Stone, Sarah Hagy Volker and Joshua Yates — in a dynamic group exhibition exploring the many meanings of distance. The show spans painting, sculpture, mixed media, jewelry, paper cut assemblage, photography, and upcycled sculptural forms, offering a rich and varied look at contemporary art practice.
Far Away marks the launch of Photopoint Gallery’s first annual, juried group exhibition—a thoughtfully curated show designed to remain on view for an extended period, both in our gallery space and in a dedicated online viewing room.
The 2025 theme Far Away invites artists to explore the concept of distance—whether physical, emotional, cultural, or imagined. This group show exhibition presents works that evoke a sense of longing, adventure, displacement, or wonder, capturing what it means to be far from home, time, or reality.
