Far Away, Photopoint Gallery’s inaugural group exhibition brings together 19 artists — Jamie Azevedo, Alyson Betz, Nancy Boyd, Marilyn Brady, Jim Cone, Brian Condon, Antoine de Villiers, Tamara Garvey, Erin Lovejoy, Kelly O’Leary, William Pagano, Mary Hartman, Peter E. Roberts, Angela Rowe, Dana Richardson, Oliver Smith, Dicky Stone, Sarah Hagy Volker and Joshua Yates in a dynamic show which explores the many meanings and interpretations of distance. It includes a wide array of paintings, sculptures, mixed media, jewelry, paper cut assemblage, photography, as well as upcycled sculptural forms created from antique and industrial salvage, offering a rich and varied look at contemporary art and practice. Off the Wall is the perfect chance for artists’ small works and multiples to find a home. Unique to this exhibition, works can be taken directly off the wall at the time of purchase, meaning locals and out-of-town visitors can bring home or gift their purchases right away. VISITOR / Laney Contemporary (Savannah, GA)

Laney Contemporary presents visitor, a solo exhibition by James Benjamin Franklin. James has brightly reimagined the conventions of painting through a language of process and discovery. His works incorporate repurposed textiles such as blankets, towels, afghans, clothing, and bathroom mats, creating sensually-layered rafts of visual and physical texture which serve as alternative canvases. These surfaces, in turn, are painted, poured, sprinkled, or sprayed with materials which include acrylic paint, sand and glitter. Learn more.

TIDELAND: PHOTOGRAPHS BY PARKER STEWART

Tideland is an exhibition of black and white photographs by Savannah-based photographer Parker Stewart (b. 1992). Taken between 2020 and 2024, these evocative photographs document the coast of Georgia by transporting the viewer into the visceral and primordial atmosphere of the barrier islands and inland waterways. The photographs show how the air hangs heavy on this ancient coastline, a place where the sea and the land entwine in an eternal embrace. Learn More

Quickly becoming one of Savannah’s most anticipated annual events, the Isle of Hope Art and Music Festival has expanded its 2025 lineup to include more than 100 talented artists and makers (including Joy Dunigan and Heather Young from Richmond Hill)! Photopoint Gallery is an intimate, ambitious art space located within Elmgren’s Garden Center, dedicated to showcasing professional fine artists from Richmond Hill, Savannah, and surrounding areas. Established in 2015 and touted as “Where the Garden Meets Art,” the gallery presents a carefully curated selection of paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, and mixed media works.
